Left: St Agnes St Agnes was a young girl of 12 – 13 when she was executed for the crime of being Christian. Through resemblance of her name to “agnus” (lamb), her principal emblem has been a lamb. I am willing to talk about my spiritual beliefs when someone asks me about them.
Right: St Catherine of Siena St Catherine changed Catholic history by convincing the papacy to return to Rome after nearly 75 years in Avignon, and is one of the few women given the title of “Doctor of the Church.” Catherine is shown wearing her Dominican habit and a crown of thorns, and she is holding a lily (a symbol of purity) and a book of her teachings. I realise that in order to discover my full potential, I must help others discover theirs.

The Blessed Sacrament This round window in the Sanctuary displays a central chalice and host surrounded by angels and cherubs and is a prominent feature in All Hallows’ Chapel Brisbane. An inscription relating to this window borders the curved wall of the Sanctuary, and reads Adoremus in Aeternum Sanctissimum Sacramentum. This translates to Let us adore forever this most Holy Sacrament.

The Mural from the Cathedral of St Stephen This is one of three murals painted in 1942 by Italian artist Virgil Lo Schiavo in St Stephen’s Cathedral. It depicts the arrival of Bishop James Quinn and the first Sisters of Mercy to Queensland, and was on the wall on the western transept until 1988.
